An older Arcade Fire song with a crazy interactive video, highly recommended to use only the voice with eerie background noise, with no drums.
The highly talented animator Ryan Woodward is behind this interpretive piece. A beautifully done rotoscope technic, which he has tied his own personal interpretation onto. He has also made a behind-the-scene short on the whole project found here. An artist who truly knows where he stands in the industry, one only wishes that had more time for himself to create more personal work.

After being recommended Australia’s The Honey Pies, while I was living in Canada, I was very surprised to find that they were in fact from my hometown, Adelaide. There isn’t a doubt that they are an upcoming band to keep your eye on. With happy beats, swinging guitar, and light-hearted lyrics such as; “she don’t love you, and that’s alright” (She Don’t Love You from Think of England), they are sure to get any crowd dancing. Reminiscent of the good ol’ days in the 60’s, they have made me very excited for their next gig at the Grace Emily on the 10th of September.

Music: Flying Lotus - Zodiac Shit
Directed by Adam “Lifuchs” Fuchs, a Georgian boy with much talent to behold. A humble animator working for Turner studios, Lifuchs turns this already amazing trip-hop track by Flying Lotus, into a addictive drug in it’s own right.
Fallulah - Out of It, designed and directed by artist John Kenn. Fallulah (aka Maria Apetri) is a very talented Danish singer and song writer. Known for her album The Black Cat Neighbours, Out of It is her upcoming 2011 single. Compared to Florence and the Machine, and Adele, her style brings out a more folky-side to the pop genre.

Artist John Kenn is behind these post-it note, monster sketches. Each character he has created has a soul to it, and it’s surprising to find that he isn’t an artist for a living. Not much is known about John Kenn except that he is a writer and director for children’s shows and has also recently designed and directed Fallulah’s new music video for Out of It. You can view the video here.
Is Tropical - The Greeks. Quirky music video of a child massacre, word of caution to those not used to pretend gun wars and terrorism. Great overlay of effects by Machine Molle, who has also done videos for Birdy Nam Nam, The Bewitched Hands, and the Aikiu.
